How long will it take?
We would normally expect to order Searches within a few days of taking your instructions. The results usually only take a few days to come back to us and we would expect to report on those results within a few days of receiving them. Special dispatch may be available where necessary at an extra charge.
Our work will include:
- Title investigation
- Enquiries regarding the owner of the property
- Consideration and advice on other searches and/or insurance that could be obtained at extra cost

Our work will be charged at a fixed fee of £365 including VAT and the Search fees.
Our fee applies regardless of how much work we actually do. In some cases this may mean we’ll get relatively better paid for doing less work than in other cases, in which the fixed fee will barely cover our costs. This is simply the nature of the mutual gamble between a solicitor and their client when they fix a fee.
